Old town Milk Tea

I’ve heard about “milk tea” several times, so, on my last visit to the Asian grocery, I got a pack.

Pour all 40 grams (!) of it into a mug:

Then add around 180 ml of water (I used closer to 200).

Now I’ll admit it here at the start: I kind of hate milk. I find its flavor and texture pretty gross. But this, even though it has “creamer” listed as 60% of its contents, it’s pretty good. Not too much of a milky flavor, though it’s still plenty creamy.

Someone I gave a taste to said it was like “hot cocoa, but with tea”, and that’s pretty accurate.

Pretty good, especially for just $1.
